How long before making gilt get up?
have a gilt that farrowed 13 babies on Monday morning early. I gave her some oxy mid day to clean her out. She passed two more pigs and a bunch of afterbirth over night Monday night. She has been laying down ever since and has not eaten. I made her get up this evening. She was weak and ate just a bit and then layed back down. She was only up for a few minutes. I have heard her making milk and she seems fine. When she was standing she was obviously very weak. My question is, should I make her get up again or just leave her alone? Thanks
