I am wondering when I should start to see physical signs of my gilt that she is bred. Also what are these signs? Thanks

Depending on how often you see your gilts or sows, I first notice that there is an increase in appetite and they are always hungry. I will have quiet hogs get louder and climb pens where they don't when they are not preg. Then within 30-45 days you start to see some bellying down in many of the gilts or sows. Sows return to preg look faster then gilts develop the look. Although I will say I have had some that carried pigs fairly high and didn't show much belly at all until a week or two before they laid down and had 10 or more pigs. Hope that helps.
