Colostrum / sow question

Post by cah » Mon Jan 23, 2017 9:45 pm

We have a gilt that is going to farrow this coming weekend. My question is she is just not the nicest pig she seems to bite and don't really like being touched ! I'm afraid she may be a nasty mother . So I'm sort of planning ahead and want to have some colostrum on hand . Any recommendations ? We have always had great sows and gilt but this one worries me . Any thing I should have on hand ?
Thanks

No way to predict gilt behavior at farrowing based off disposition.

I second that on the Manna Pro colostrum supplement....it is the only one that I know of that actually works on baby pigs
