Breeding gilt

Bred gilt she stood like a champ - my question is I am not positive that she was in standing heat for very long . Gave 2nd dose @ 9 hours later but had some back flow . Thoughts on this ?

Keep heat checking. You got most of two doses into her. Gilts don't always follow the book. Will know for sure in 21 days.

Some back flow is normal and actually positive when beeeding as contractions are rather strong.

I would be more concerned if you didn't have some strong flow out of semen.

Sounds like she bred very well, hopefully nature will be kind to you.
