I had copied and pasted Hogdoc's post and saved it into a document on my computer. Here it is:

I suppose there are other treatment protocols for ulcers but this is the one I have had the most success with.

On the first day give them a shot of B12 and BoSe feed them a small amount of oat groats mixed with water. You put 2 oz of bismuth, Omeprazole paste and then we put a scoop of TrueGlo on top of that. As they start eating you can increase the amount and replace oats with regular feed.

Keep giving them the omeprazole and bismuth for the next 5-7 days minimum and as long as 14 days. You can feed the TrueGlo the rest of the feeding period it isn't an ulcer treatment but our experience is nothing helps appetite more. Obviously I'm biased since it is my product so I'd encourage you to ask some of our customers rather than take my word for it.

You can buy bismuth by the gallon and one horse dose of omeprazole is 12 or 13 pig doses.
On the human side omeprazole is also the active ingredient in Prilosec and Zegrid.

Here is another copy/paste from another post from HogDoc on the same topic:
From HogDoc:
There are a number of ulcer protocols around but this is one we use with good success. You'll need to talk about it with your vet some of the meds are extra label and some are script.

On the first day we give a B12 and a BoSe injection and feed straight oat groats. Then we drench or top dress if she'll eat with 1 scoop TrueGlo, 2 oz bismuth, and 40 mg omeprazole. Bismuth is exactly the same as Pepto bismol but you can get it for animals in a gallon jug for about $10. Omeprazole is supplied as a paste or powder for horses.

Once she starts eating you can top dress the TrueGlo, omeprazole, and bismuth for a total of 7 to 14 days and replace the oats with feed over a few days.
(The purpose of BoSe is that Vitamin E is an antioxidant that improves healing and being short Vitamin E is a risk factor for ulcer formation.)

I have followed this protocol when needed and it works great.
