Restarting or conditioning a sow for breeding

Post by Rway » Thu Jan 30, 2020 11:00 am

I have a couple of older sows that either I missed with or are non cycling. They were all cycling this past summer or had a litter on them, but for some reason are not cycling now. One is a three year old hamo that bred as a gilt two years ago. Is there any recommend procedures out there to get these older sows productive again. For example use of Ovugel, Factel, etc. They were restarted with PG600 (at least we thought they were) and we had boars. So I am looking for other unusual recommendations. Obviously it may be better just to market these girls, but some are family pets and we are not ready to do that yet. Thanks.
