Has anyone seen blue eyed Berkshires? We have 6 in a new litter to a first parity sow and all six were born with blue eyes. They are beautiful and all seem healthy just making sure we’re not dealing with some crazy virus.

Most, if not all mammals are born with blue eyes. It takes a little while for the melanin to settle in the irises. I did taxidermy for many years, and was always surprised by the glass eyes for baby fawns and other animals being blue.
