I have a first time sow that has 4 regular nipples and the rest are cone shaped with no holes for the milk to come out. Just wondering if anyone has seen this and has any ideas. Thanks.

as baby pigs there are times when the nipples can swell, become tender and be rubbed to scabs. when this happens the teats are no longer functional. i dont have a picture but im thinking this is the issue. I would hesitate to breed her.

She had 10 babies yesterday. She looked fine as a baby. I think I will be bottle feeding some babies.
