Can anyone suggest how to weigh a pig. :lol:

baby pig? big pig??? baby pig, get a scale, put a box on it, rmeber how much it weighs, and then put a pig on it an subtract the weight of the box.

what exactly is your question? they make scales to weigh pigs. they are costly unless your lucky enough to find a used set. if you plan on catching the show pig addiction like the rest of us, then a set of scales is the best investment you can make. and when you do decide to go into rehab you will have no trouble getting your money back out of them.

Who sales scales to weight pigs over say 50 lbs and up.

we use PAUL SCALES, they very good scales. usually your local feed store or farm supply could order them for you. they are around $1300 new for the manual slide type which is all you need. there are also many on-line retailers. their operating range is from 1-500 pounds.

i prefer smidley scales they are on within 2lbs either way everytime usually right on.

You might do a search on "Ray Tekippe". He sells used hog equipment, including scales.
