Farrowsure

Is it safe to give Farrowsure to a lactating sow? We are wanting to breed her back at weaning.

I once asked the Vet the same question. That is probably the best time to give it. Many of the vaccine suppply companies have a Vet on staff for consultation, sort of like talking to your pharmacist.
It is also typical to get temperature spikes with the vaccine, so don't be surprised if the pig goes off feed for 1 day. This is something I wish the drug companies could fix. I have used two different brands, both did the same thing. Not all pigs affected, but the ones that were affected, returned to eating real quick.

my vet said to give it at weaning if you were gonna breed her back on the first heat
