Yep, I went. Really liked Nit2winit xbred, if you need to make them bigger Pocket Rocket is big and negative. Changer and Style Points are both Point Maker sons, but a little different the way they are put together.

Yorks They are big on The Journey, but Rising Star and Snowplow will probably get you what you want for a lot less. They have some other new york boars they have recently purchased, but I was more drawn to rising star than the others.

Lot of boars, all just depends on the parts you need. Seem like a nice outfit and I think if you give them a call in advance they can probably help you pick out the right boar for your females. If you have any ?'s on a specific boar, pm me, I made notes on several of the xbreds, not so much on the yorks or durocs. I liked the spot boar Widetrack, would have liked to have seen a shade more bone, but still a heck of a boar.

What are others opinions on 3 Way? He sure seemed to show himself, really kind of impressed with him as a barrow maker.

Yes hopefulchamp, I saw him. I wasn't going to mention him and save him all for myself  I put a star behind boars I really liked for their completeness-Modern Warfare, Way Cool, Motor Boater, Fast n Loud, Nit2winit. Swagger 1-3 was the only boar that I gave two stars! I think he might throw a slightly bigger frame than Swagger. I like his wider chest floor, I think it makes a better looking club pig (esp gilt), if they aren't pinched and it looks more balanced if they have a wide front and rear stance. I'm no judge, but to me it looks awkward when a club pig has a wide top, nice spring of rib, but pinches below the lower rib, like they have no bacon at all or they haven't eaten for a couple days. Swagger 1-3 is wide all the way to the ground and he is only $200/dose. They brought him out of the first building last, I think to leave an impression, which he did. I do expect there will be a shortage of semen on him. I don't know his stress test. Feel free to send me a pm if you want me to rip apart somebody's boar, I don't want to hurt somebody's business, but I really can't find anything bad to say about 1-3.

In his pic 1-3 looked kind narrow in his rear base width. Chest floor looks wide though. Is that just the picture

I just looked at their photo of him.....not how he looks in person. His front pasturns, in my opinion, are better in person also.
