HEAVY STRUCTURED YORK BOAR
HEAVY STRUCTURED YORK BOAR
Wanting peoples opinions on york boars that have some leg and are heavy structured. I wont sacrifice soundness. Opinions on any that you've tried or seen that would fit this bill are appreciated. Thanks!

Re: HEAVY STRUCTURED YORK BOAR
I would talk to Dan Burzlaff about the boar he bought at the Barrow Show. I think they call him "Night Cap". Great White x His Dams littermate.
Re: HEAVY STRUCTURED YORK BOAR
I saw great white in person and he is very in at his knee and alot of his pigs are in at their knee including that boar from barrow show

Wanting opinions from anyone that has seen Bone Buzz at Moyers or Fundamental from Thompsons?
Re: HEAVY STRUCTURED YORK BOAR
Bone buzz has been pretty consistent at generating bone. I would use him if your sow has plenty of body and volume.

Re: HEAVY STRUCTURED YORK BOAR
What would you say his frame size is. Im needing to add a bit more leg and just overall heaviness of structure. The sow has everything else.
Re: HEAVY STRUCTURED YORK BOAR
Bone Buzz is Average Frame size. He shouldn't make them dinks. I think he should be big enough outlined to use on an average framed hog. His front pasterns are good and he is pretty tall fronted if that helps any.
