That's up to you. I almost did this last season and decided not on the sole fact of the ethics (and that I might have been burned by them in the past). I've had much higher success rates with places like Premium Blend. My confidence is in other boar studs at this point.

Pure boars would parentage documented.

Ask then if they are banking there crosses.

Not in any way defending these alleged actions - I’ve received semen from boars from other studs that clearly wasn’t what I ordered. The sire documentation is the only way you can be sure.

Call Brent and talk to him about your concerns.

I will never use them again! Bred my best sow to Maker it Easy and she didn’t take. Never had a problem with her before. $800 down the drain....

Given what they were caught doing and that was mixing boar semen, there's no telling what you'll get. Winmor farms bred and raised Make it Easy and he had ZERO pigs sired by him after testing so if they guy who raised the boar can't get the right semen then no one can. Call Brent???  What a gas, yeah I had dealt with them for a few years on contract semen, I called and talked to him about my concerns after I had already called and spoke with another lady about issues. Guess what, I got 2 different answers Brent bold faced lied to me when I talked to him about it and I caught him in the lie. I asked about a couple boars that were reposed by their breeders and I knew they were taken back, Brent said they just didn't pan out and I said so you just send them to the stock yards?? Yep about the only thing you can do. Bred with a hamp when the testing first came out, had a really good boar out of the litter I wanted to test but multiple workers told me they haven't seen the first pig come back at 90% from that certain boar. Again talked to Brent when we had a long conversation and he tells me oh man you should've tested him we've had plenty test out above 90%. After the allegations came out I believe I heard it was 2-3 workers left right after that. They're crooked and if anyone thinks this is the first time doing it they're crazy. I asked Brent about mixing semen, he said not to my knowledge, really you can't say absolutely not?? We as breeders have to take a stand against guys out to just take take take, so no don't buy from their. From a ethical standpoint I don't know how anyone can, if you stand behind the product you sell, how can you stand behind a firm that isn't out for your best interest?? Sold 30 or 40 plus doses of semen from Make it Easy on 1 day, that's how ethical they are.

My belief is "Once a Crook, Always a Crook".
Since the bad allegations came out my money has all gone elsewhere.
Most people in the pig business are great and honest. Why deal with those have been proven unethical?
I might have a sow by 225K. How can prove it? I purchased the semen that begat her from a charity action for $500 a dose!

So I guess since you guys don’t support boar studs who cheat do you do the same thing and not support breeders who lie about date of births on
Pures??
