Anyone know what he might do now days, He is the son of Charles Hodde. They say he had been taking hogs that are not necessarily the trend these days meaning less rib and harder made.

Its been a while since I have seen him judge but that seemed to be the case then a little harder and not quite enough rib for today.

I watched a show he judged last weekend, doubt info would be helpful now, but im willing to share

BIG BIG BIG on structure, from what i remember he likes them a little shorter, not long legged. He also didn't use any under finished or over finished hogs.

So during the Champion drive, what weight class did he look like he preferred?

I see a couple of you on here that's doing to the hc fair. And I know some of you thats just watdhing,Just want to say good luck and have fun we'll see you there. A week and a half to go. Anybody here any final numbers I now when we validated they expected 200 we were at the very end of the line at around 10 and they said they were no where near that.

Our local county fair is coming up and I am curious if any other people have had experience with this judge. Trying to see what he looks for while judging the pigs...ie: the structure all the way to the kind of hair length he liked while looking at the pigs.
