I have a 6 year son. What advice do you have for him in showmanship and in the ring? This is his second year showing hogs. Everything has changed since I showed in high school.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jessica

i love watching the peewee showmanship!! : )
that is the industry's future right there...
as far as advice..
just get down the basics, making "pig" sandwiches, putting the pig between you and the judge...
and learning to be calm in the showring..
the rest will come with more time and experience
oh yeah, have fun with the project

Make sure he keeps his eyes [b:76245317a6]locked[/b:76245317a6] on the judge and train his pig to walk in the center of the ring ! Lethim walk him so when he shows he will know what to do . Because if you walk the hog for him he will not know what to do. He will walk in his on style .
