Small Litters

I have been seeing small litters from heathy sows.Has anyone else seen this?

Healthy sows do not guarantee large litters. A lot more goes into getting a large litter than the sow being healthy. Timing of breeding, timing of vaccinations, feeding during lactation, etc. There are a LOT of invitro viruses that could cause a small litter that would not make the sow appear ill. Experience is one thing that will help assure a nice large healthy litter. Good luck.
