I'm 9 and short, how tall does my pig pipe need to be? This is my very 1st show pig. How do you cut it to be the right height? Thanks

I would say about waist high or whatever you feel comfortable with. What type of showing device do you use?

My mom got me a neon color show pipe and I got in there with Ruby and Garnet and Ruby showed me what she thought of it and bite several holes through it. Mom called the Agcenter and they said I have to use a pig pipe. So Ruby, Garnet and I will work with the pig pipe that Ruby bite into. It's eaiser now for me to smush a marshmellow on it. Even though they don't eat it, Ruby loves to smell it. My mom says she wants to extend the pen another 20' or so down the hill, so she can work both Ruby and my leg muscle, hoping she don't come up with the money to extended it down the hill.

How do you cut the pipe to measure my hip height?

A pig pipe should be about the right size. If you need to cut it, I would use a hacksaw with a fine toothed blade.

Got to love my mom, she stuck one of my old arrows up the shaft of the pig pipe and left enough space to stick 5 marshmellows on the arrow. Ruby walk liked a dream, but she doesn't eat the marshmellows, she chews on them like gum and then spites them out. Had to throw them over the fence for the dogs when we got her walking in so it would not draw ants.

I guess she worried about herr figure?...LOL...
