straw or wood shavings

I use both and personally don't have a preference.... At fairs or shows, its easier to use shavings but at home I use straw. Using straw they can burrow in it... I have in the past put wood shavings down, just a bag or two, then put straw over that. Then when cleaning all you have to do is pick through the straw and just shovel the shavings out, and put a new bag down. Hope this information helps!
