One of shows this spring is having pigs brought in from a single farm for youth to show in order to lessen the spread of PEDV. They are just commercial market size pigs that we will show for the day and then they will be sold. They haven't been worked with at all except for standard practices at the farm. I've worked with plenty of hogs, including market size, sows and full grown boars but have never shown.
What type of show stick or can do you suggest for these pigs? Also are there any tips you have for me?
What type of show stick is prefered?
