Best way to take care of hair/skin is simply maintaining it daily. Washing and conditioning being the most important to healthy clean skin.
We usually use champions choice when tanning ours and it works well. You can spray down any dark spots/ areas and brush it in. You can have this on while walking and then leave them in an outdoor washrack or under indoor tanning lights but be sure to watch and make sure they don't get too hot. Do this for about 20 minutes and be sure to slather any white spots with sunscreen to they don't burn. We normally use clear choice and bright lights from Sullivan's. Bright lights will white pigs and clear choice is a mild soap good for keeping skin clean and moisurized.
Doing this daily will bring the best results but if you do not have time every other day or every 3 days will work too.
We use the pink skin conditioning spray from Weaver's but coconut butter is an inexpensive alternative that will keep skin hydrated.
CLEAN PENS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! This will solve most and prevent almost all skin, hair, and air issues. Clean pen = clean, happy pig.

No problem! I would either do a lot of brushing or scrub the pig down really good in a bath and then moisurize with Coco butter or the pink spray. Try to moisturize as much as possible especially after tanning because then the skin will dry out and the tanned skin will start to flake or peel off. Moisturize every day if you can.

One thing I would add is if your pigs have long hair try and clip it a couple of times through out your show season. I have seen that when you clip them you can get the skin in better condition when you add your moisturizer. Plus you have the added benefit of getting your pig used to being clipped and that decreases the stress level. Spray and comb them daily with a good rice root brush. Brushing causes the skin release and natural oils also. Good Skin and color does not come from doing things 1 time a week. It is a daily routine that makes the pigs look their best.

Try diluting Mrs. Stewards bluing in your shampoo, this will take the stains out of the white hair, especially on the legs. Just make sure you DILUTE or you will turn your pig purple.
