Need to Relax Muscles

I have a gilt that is very heavily muscled. So much to the point that it is uncomfortable for her to walk, and she uses the hunch back position. She is on a low protein diet. I have been applying Bio Freeze before her walks, and it seems to be a great improvement. The active ingredient is Menthol, is this ok? I would still like to help her more and get her to stride out. Any other suggestions??

Add some fat to the diet to help. Also if you can, put the pig on a joint supplement. TruTrac works great. A stiff pig now will probably develop some sort of structure issue as a result of the strained walking. There are other supplements such as Lubrisyn you get from the Feed store. It is the Top end of the market in price though.

She is on Stay Sound, but that is irrelevant. It is not a joint issue

Also just trying slowing her down by feeding her less. Let her catch up with her muscle hopefully.
