Assistance with Fitting Show Pigs

Post by chrisgott » Fri Nov 05, 2021 1:58 am

My children showed pigs for 12 years, that was 20 years ago. I understand that now fitting the pigs is a whole new ball game. Can anyone share a document or video of what I am trying to achieve now when I do this for my grandson? Thanks in advance!

Now days people are leaving the hair at-least half an inch. You are going to want to make sure it is uniform and trim the long hairs on the body and the legs. At the point of the shoulder to the front end and from the top of the neck to the head you will probably want to work your way down to about 1/4 in of hair but you want to blend it.
