I just got my last pig for our county show and he needs a name any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

do you know the sires name? we have always used the sire name to name our pigs. Like I had a barrow that was a roc on solid roc cross and named him Roc on Rocky.

wut i do is i jus think of any random name and pick that one r i jus name my pig by the way he's marked r his physical features

Try to think of something you're interested in. For instance, I only show barrows so I decided to name mine after male red dirt and Texas country music artists. I have Cooper and Fenoglio this year, and next I plan to have Django and Donahew. If someone were an OK-State fan maybe they'd have Pete or Bullet, etc. Well, good luck!

well one thing i can say is dont baby the pig or later on it will think its your master you need to show your pig whos boss at a young age and it will respect you later on

ohh sorry i was reading another form and i replied the wrong thing to you i always name my pigs after food like bacon porky porkchop ribs stuff like that
