The easiest way to put it: You want a boar that will fix the faults of your gilt... What's your gilt like?

Don't have experience using them, but from what I heard you couldn't go wrong with them. What about 7-2 Southern Advantage or maybe even positive track at triple b. Sounds like you need to add some basewidth and some rib. Am i right. You looking at an exotic boar, york, hamp? You also might want to shy away from stress carriers if you do not know your gilts' stress status.

I hear 7-2 Southern Advantage is pretty good...havent tried it yet though looking for the right gilt to go with him. You cant go wrong with tripe b either. I wouldnt go with a stress carrier if you dont kno ...its better to be safe with not adding stress to stress. Is your gilt a purbred? If so you could breed her to a pure hampshire and have purbreds. Its up 2 you.

alias are good boars...however be careful not to get to purebred otherwise you run into stress positive litters..i would recomend finding a good boar that correcxts your gilts faults but thats a cross.
