Purina feed

Post by Giemzas » Mon May 27, 2019 8:51 am

We have a 168 pound barrow. He looks great from front and side view. He could use some muscle pop in his rear view. About 54 days til fair. Suggestions on if should go to 919 and what Purina supplement would help?

919 would be a good choice. Also High Octane Champion Drive at 1 lb per day will help. He can average gaining about 1.93 lb/day (280 -168) / 54 days =1.93 lb/day.

You could also feed Paylean during the final 14-21 days.

We have paylean left from last year that we stored in freezer. Does it loose potency? Thank you! Currently on 919..and 1lb champion drive. 38 days til fair and 215 lbs.

If it has been frozen, it is still good.

Very nice! Congratulations! Remember to go to Purinamills.com and in the Search field type in:

We have a Barrow that has a little to much fat cover on sides. He is currently 220 lbs. Roughly 25 days until video needs to be in for virtual show. Fitter 52 a good choice?

Yes it is. However, it shouldn’t take 25 days... more like 14 days.
