PIGS stands for “Personal Improvement and Growth through Swine,” encapsulating the core philosophy of our program – fostering personal development and growth among college-age students through their involvement in the swine industry.
The PIGS Leadership Program offers a transformative experience for college students passionate about swine. By combining leadership development, industry immersion, mentorship, and networking opportunities, this program equips participants with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to thrive in the pork industry and beyond. Join us in shaping the future leaders of the swine community!
The ambassadors selected for the program will meet throughout the year to develop their skills, learn about the industry, and develop a personal project to return to the community. Students applying for this program should be college-aged students and be able to travel to three in-person events scheduled throughout the year. Additional connections will be made through virtual meetings.
