Not sure about Triple X. Double Cross was a Major Feat x Crossbow.
Major Feat was Crossbow son so he'd be a double bred Crossbow.

Re: Sunglo G-line starter
I've tried to get info. and prices from a few dealers in my area and not one seems to know anything about it. I've called the Sunglo feed specialist that services my area as well but have not received a call back. Would like to try it but they better do a better job of getting information out regard...

Re: lb white heater
You'll need to have a plumber or your propane company come out and check the pressure at the regulator. What type of heater is it? Some of the bigger heaters have a regulator built in to the gas valve on the heater.

Re: lb white heater
Sounds like it needs a good cleaning. Use a wire brush and compressed air to clean the burner, pilot orifice, and thermocouple. Sometimes cobwebs and dirt will cause a blockage in the burner and lessen the pressure. This will likely cause a dirty flame which is orange in color as opposed to bright b...

Re: Matrix and weaning sows
I'd give the last dose of Matrix on the 26th of September and then PG600 all of them on the 27th (day 1). The majority of the sows should be in heat on the 30th or October 1st (day 4 or 5). If you order semen to be collected on the 30th and you're breeding 24 and 36 hours from first standing heat yo...

Re: Another Matrix question.
I would be very hesitant to give lower doses and stretch a bottle too far. You'll potentially be setting yourself up for a pen full of gilts or sows with cystic ovaries. Lower doses of Matrix will allow endogenous levels LH to increase and give subsequent rise to follicles. But because you would be ...

Final Proof
Looking for opinions on this boar from those that have seen him. He was the $100,000 York boar at WPX this year. Strengths, weaknesses, where does he need to be protected? Thanks in advance!

Re: York boar to breed to cross sow
I spoke to the guys at Triple B last fall about Seein Stars. The gilt I wanted to use him on needed to be taller fronted also and they said he probably about average in that area. He won't make them taller fronted but probably won't make them worse either. Obviously that was before he had a few pigs...

I've heard that Daytripper 112-10 at North Iowa Boar Stud will add some frame. He's had some winners too. I've never seen the boar in person, just going by what I've heard. You might want to call them and ask.

Re: Agame at cutting edge
We had a litter of 8 out him last week, and so far I'm very impressed. I'll agree with most of the assessments that have already been made. He'll make them more moderate framewise and lengthwise. I'd almost like to make them a rib or two longer. He added bone and foot size as our sow was average in ...
