I have used vegatable oil, lotion, lubricating gel and baby oil. I saw another person use motor oil. They all have worked just fine.

In everyones opinion what is the ideal percent of fat in a diet to get 6 to 7 tenths of back fat on a hog at 260 lbs.
I guess you would also need to have a starting weight to go with that opinion.

The answer is economics 101 called supply and demand. As long as people are paying for high price semen they will continue to supply high price semen. The same with pigs as long as people pay high prices breeders will charge high prices.

Buy the best gilts that your budget will allow. We all have access to the same boars. So set your self apart with your gilts.
