Re: Changing trend??

Has this trend continued anywhere? Does not seem to be the case from shows I have seen this summer. Seems to still be plenty of cover and lottttts of belly and guts. Just curious what people are seeing.

Berkshire meat

Does anyone know... when you are breeding to berks for meat quality does it need to be berk on berk or can you breed berk boar to a cross bred sow and get good results?

PG 600

<t>I am considering using PG 600 to trigger the sows cycle a little sooner. Questions:<br/> <br/> Will the sow behave any differently in an artificially induced heat? Stonger? Weaker? Different signs?<br/> <br/> Do you still follow the same protocol of waiting 12 to 24 hours from the first sign of s...

Help with AI

<t>I just need a few suggestions to help with AIing. Still relatively new at this. We AI'd 2 sows last year for the first time at it all went extremely well. I was able to easily detect when they were in standing heat.<br/> <br/> This year we have 3 sows and we are having a little more difficulty. I...
