I know we ought to bred our gilts to farrow around 1 year old but I was wondered if we kept gilts to farrow at 16 months or breed at 1 year what troubles could I run into. I've got some sows out of sinc and this could work for me.

How lng after you give lepto shots can you breed. I know the best time is to give the booster 2 weeks ahead of breeding.

Breeding a couple to him as we speak. Using mostly Hillbilly Bone sons this breeding and picked him to match up to a couple sows. Time will tell. But I like what I see in Hillbilly Bone and his sons.
