I was just wondering what is the best way to feed oats and the benefits. Is it better to feed them in free feed or morning and night, what kind of oats are best for weight gain?

I have a sow in the crate with her babies and saw that a heat lamp got knocked down and the glass broke and cut one of the sow’s nipples. I put iodine on it, it still has milk as well and dosnt seem to be hurting her too bad. Should I give anti- Biotics or just keep washing it with iodine? Thankyou !

I was wondering if there is any difference in using a foam tip rod on a sow. I use then on a few gilts of mine and it seemed to work great and was really easy. Dose is matter what kind you use for sows or no ?

I use the spray from hog mate, works great for checking/ breeding. Make sure you get the spray that says "guilts / sows"

I have 2 pigs that look like they have a umbilical hernia, It sort of looks like a zit right now. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it or are those pigs stuck like that ? They are 12 days old

I had just moved this pregnant gilt (due feb 2ed 2017) into a new 12x24 pen by herself. I think she might have hit it on the concrete pad in the pen, she didn't want to put any pressure on her back leg. Any advice on what I should do to help her ?

I had just AI my gilt and she was only in standing for 1 day after putting 2 doses in her. Is it possible for them to go out of heat/standing heat if her egg got fertilized? She is also usually in heat 2 days longer and one day with standing.

There has been a outbreak of PRRS in my aria and lucky me I had some sows contract it. My question is dose it ever 100% go away or do I need to get rid of my whole stock and start over ?
