KGB holding rations
I have a spot weighing 260 with 12 days left til weigh in. No weigh back. 270 is max weight. How can i hold her 10 pounds while also taking away excess fat and adding a little bulk and top shape?

Pregnant pig?
I bred 5 pigs this year. 4 gilts one sow. One came back into heat (got swollen) but reads pregnant on the pregtone and also reads pregnant when i did the p-test from emlab. Would you say she is pregnant or just false tests?

We usually try to have our due dates on the weekend. Last year we had one that was going to farrow on a monday so we gave her lute to deliver on sunday, day 113 so that we could be there to help with delivery. She has 13 piglets all alive and healthy. I bred one of our sows to blue by you at shipleys last year and every pig in the litter were exceptional on their feet and legs.

She said that sperm from multiple boars creates competition which in turn produces more piglets, creating smaller pigs at birth. I'm not an expert and have never actually used two boars I was just wondering if anyone else had ever heard of this before. If so I was going to try it.

Her reasoning was that multiple boars tend to have smaller babies which makes it easier on a gilt to pass the babies and you dont have as many problems with delivery

I was just wondering because my vet said that breeding with 2 different boars would make it easier on the gilt when giving birth. But none of the boar studs I've worked with have never heard of this

I have a sow we breed once a year. She is approximately 2 1/2 years old. Her last litter was July 23. She went into heat 21 days after weaning, and has been in heat every 21 days since, on the dot. I was planning on breeding her March 30. She did not come into heat March 8 like she was supposed to. ...

Pure boar to cross sow
Was thinking about breeding my all white cross sow to a pure york boar. Has anyone had any luck with this or should I just find a boar like cookie or white privilege and hope some turn out all white?

No problem, thank you I will do that. Right now on 3 lbs fitter 35 and 1/2 pound depth charge for about a week shes looking better than before and gaining right around .38 pounds a day.

Actually I just saw where ya'll have a new product, fitter 52. Is there anyway I could feed that and get a 1 lb. Adg a day or less and get a little more shape? Or just stay with 3 lbs fitter 35 and 1 pound depth charge?

KGB holding question
Have a pig that weighs 260 pounds with 14 days til weigh in. Max is 275 with no weigh back. Currently feeding 3lbs fitter 35 and half pound depth charge a day. Should I continue this or what can I do to keep the shape she has?
