<t>The most proven over time would be Anchor. You will find Anchor in the back side of A LOT of yorkshire pedigrees and a VERY large percentage of Olsen's herd.<br/> <br/> I would say Mighty Mack is probably Chuck's best Yorkshire right now based on results of pigs out of the boars, but none of the ...

Give them a call and they will answer your questions. They only keep what they have a use for in their herd. I know they are very excited about the Toxic boar they got from expo and have a new Legend boar they are bringing up...with that they don't have much use for Baby Blue and On the Money

<t>We had a litter out of him as well in February and they are looking tremendous right now. I wasn't really sure what they would do for the first couple months and didn't really care for them. They were large framed for their age with not much power. But after about two months they really filled in...

Michael013 I was looking at your website how did your Deal Breaker litter turn out???? The sow looks really good. I was pretty happy with the deal breaker pigs. They have a little more leg on them than I was hoping but my guess is they will grow into them nicely. All in all they are pretty stout ma...

Michael013 I have seen on your website that you had a Hamp litter out of Big Top. Was wondering how they look? We used Big Top on a first time gilt and she had some troubles and didn't quite perform like we were hoping she would. Nonetheless, of the ones we were able to get weaned we got a couple b...

<t>For consistency I was most impressed with our Anthrax (PSSS) litter. We got a litter of 11 and there is not a single weak pig in that litter. I will say there was no consistency as far as color goes, we have red belts, solid black, belted, and blues from the litter. But every pig in that litter i...

<t>I used Unreal (Shipley's), Yak II (Shipley's), Mega Watt (PSSS), and Perfect Game (LVS)<br/> <br/> So far I have been most impressed with the Unreal litter on an Untouchable Gilt. Had a nice litter of 11 and weaned all 11. They are very consistant from top to bottom and are definitely thick made....

<r>Here's the pic. Like I said, its not a very good pic taken on my cell phone of a three week old pig...it doesn't really do the pig justice for what he actually looks like but you can get somewhat of an idea<br/> <br/> [img:d33da9cdd9]<URL url="http://i979.photobucket.com/albums/ae277/lanou013/Rin...

<t>Our litter of Ringleaders are about 3 weeks old right now and are looking great! Our sow wasn't a red carrier so we didn't get any crazy coloring but got either almost all black pigs or almost all white pigs. She layed in a nice litter of 13, but due to a fan being installed in wrong, the piglets...

<t>We have a litter of Treasure Chest pigs that are just a week old and are already looking like the real deal. Same goes with our MegaWatt on Buckcherry pigs...they all came out just massive topped and shoulders on them. I was also surprised to find out about red-gened boars including Cover Shot, A...

<t>Had a chance to talk to our vet this is his recommendations for our problem: We gave her a shot of estrumate to ensure that tomorrow she is absolutely ready to farrow. Tomorrow morning we will tie her back two legs together so she cannot lay split legged like she is and this will force her onto h...

Gilt can't stand, ready to farrow

<t>Looking for ideas on how to farrow a gilt we have. We were moving her into the barn to get her in a crate and she split her legs out. We have her in a crate, but now she lays/sits with her legs under her and somewhat set out. I am guessing she pulled a tendon of some sort. I can't get her to stan...

<t>I was really pleased with my Mighty Mack Litter from Olsens. I would suggest calling some of the studs you are interested in using and asking them what their opinion is on their boars. York breeders that I personally like are Olsen Yorkshires, Grimms, and Cobbs. They are great people to work with...

<t>I used him on a Superman x Pure York so she is a blue butt. Had a littermate to her bred to a pure duroc and got some red ones out of her, so i would imagine there's a good chance I will get a pretty big variety of color with this mating then...which I am fine with...color has never played an iss...
