Need to Soften Top line

KGB, I have a cross gilt that is extremely heavy muscled. Her spring of rib and curve of belly to her rear flank is not bad, but her topline is well defined from her blade into that ham/loin junction. Currently on 6 lbs 819 and 1 lbs of Ultra Full per day (broken into 2 feedings). What to you recomm...

Holding Options

Have a barrow for a late January show that is gaining very well. On 10/13 he weighed 136 lbs and would like him to be 280 lbs on 1/19/18. What is best option to slow him down without compromising muscle and body? Currently on 709 open feed. All HSC supplements are available in my area.

Sunglo Grower vs 18-G Meal

Has anyone used these products and what do you feel is the better feed? Just curious as the 18-G is considerably higher in Lysine.

Question for KGB

I have a York Barrow that weighs 153 lbs. We show January 24, 2016. Currently he is on 709. He has great muscle mass and wide top on him and very structually correct. IMO i think he has put too much fat cover over his top and LEA for his age/weight. Would I be better suited to use Champion Drive or ...

KGB-HSC 509 Question

When receiving show pigs (50-70 lbs) I started them out on Honor 509. Is there an age or weight that you should not go past and switch them to 709? I personally like keeping pigs on higher protein and supplementing with PowerFuel or Heavy Weight. So can 509 be fed as a sole ration all the way until ...

Prolapse of Rectum....

I have a pig that just developed a prolapse of the rectum. Is there any quick fix with this without having to get lots of money involved? I was told to try brown sugar and it might help. Any suggestions?

We started him on Fitter 35 today. We have 2 months until show so we have some time to tinker with feed. My main concern is that I have to allow 3 weeks to special order 35 in so I wasnt going to order another bucket if its not recommened to feed along with the paylean for the last 2 weeks.

Feed Strategy Question

<t>I have a blue-butt barrow being shown in March. We are using Moormans 20%CP and 3% Fat, but he is too soft IMO. I have ordered Purina Fitter 35 topdress which is suppossed to bring back leaness and more defined look. My question is first has anyone used it and would it be too much to use with Moo...
