Last year I got second place in showmanship. I was just wondering what do most judges look for in a 1st place winner? Also where exactly are you suppose to tap the pig when you walk them?? The shoulder, neck what?? Plz reply, THANKS!

Well the most common thing would that it is too hot. Pigs will slow down eating or stop for a while so make sure and keep them cool. If not put some jello mixed in with the feed or cake mix.

What we do is just put triple antibiotic ointment on it. Just put it on thick.

Well it doesn't matter unless you have rules for it. If you walk you pigs more you can use a whip because it would be easier. So start out on the pipe then use a whip when they are trained.
