So an update... the dewormer worked as it should have. She gained 30 lb in 12 days... that put her right where she was projected to be before the slow weight gain week (s). Currently pulsing paylean 10 days on 10 days off 30 days until show. Last weeks weight was 201

We are almost finished with deworming. We were using a pour on product that was given to my daughter as a “dewormer”. We are hoping that after this (safeguard) 3-5 day dose that she will start gaining again. If not we will start pulsing paylean :)

You can use the 4.5g per ton ration and get great results. I'd wait until the last 2-3 weeks.

Another product to consider if you're worried about paylean is Purina Fitter 52.

Thank you for the response I will look into the fitter 52 I was also told about the fitter 35

How much paylean should I feed?

Our pig is currently 162lbs we have 63 days until show. My daughters pig has some neck (jowel) fat. We would like to lean her out and gain some additional muscle. I would like to use a minimum amount of paylean but still have results of leaning her out and gain some more muscle. I am currently feedi...
