Have heard allot about the fresh and full look, hear judges say that pig looks a little stale.
What to feed to get that full fresh look any advice?

I have heard oats early is helpful

What are your go to supplements
Understanding certain ones are for certain needs
What do you go to old or new

We really like shavings for bedding, it keeps the pigs clean and smell down for us. we like cement floors under the bedding and a good line of cool water is a must. doesn't have to be large but clean helps a good attitude

We feed them with our regular feed

What is the difference between crimped oat and oat groats

Is there a product that will start that rib flex in younger pigs so the rib expansion grows as the pig does instead of just at the end or am I off base.

Hanging feeder and raising it as pig grows will help keep his head up, instead of looking on the ground at show time.
Just something that has worked for us.

We have had quite the discussion of when is the best time to help a already good structured pig with rib expansion while they are younger, older or all along and what feeds have worked best to accomplish this task?

Have been told in the past, if you raise the feeder as the pig grows when show time comes they keep their head up more is this true?
