What’s your thoughts on Done me dirty at Southern Gold?

I’ve always fed are gilts and sows 2x a day at about 5 pounds total I’m just curious how many people feed once a day and how much? Thanks

1 bottle of dextrose (concreted sugar water) ad to feed and again 1 bottle a couple hours before you show and as much water as you can get them to drink to drive the sugar into the muscle cells to make them pop you can get dextrose at your local farm store.

We have a sow that was AI’d in October and was due this week but clearly she has aborted that litter but my biggest question is why has she not cycled sense October not for sure we she aborted but she never showed any signs of being pregnant thanks for any response.

What is big benefits between the two other than the price?

Just curious why to use milk replacer when feeding versus sumo or heavy weight?

You see this more so in show pigs there should not be an issue with it we use starglo or fitter 35 to shrink them a little also search the forum for fat pocket for more info.

We see this all the time in cross bred pigs at this age don't worry just lower the protein a little if you can and just let there skeleton catch up.

I have a real good replacement gilt but unfortunately she tested positive I'm just trying to get as much input as possible before we decide to ship her or keep her thanks.
