Yes you can but there are better products for holding

Depends on breed and feeding program. You can get a Duroc there easily. If your feeding crosses it will be a little harder but can be done if you are hand feeding, using a quality feed and supplement tile TrueGlo

I have not used the Show Rite product but have used sure champ. I like TrueGlo CR way better than sure champ.

Stay with the showtec feed but get rid of all the other junk. Add oat goats and take away feed after 20-30 minutes. Also purchase TrueGlo CR and start top dressing. It is the absolute best product on the market to keep them eating and healthy.

I would guess the pig stressed because on a combination of being washed in cold weather ( would not recommend that in the future) being walked after the wash and being handled more aggressively than normal. He should be fine as long as he did not get sick after being washed in that kind of weather.

We like to start our pigs on TrueGlo CR and TrueTrac at the start of the product but you can start the true trac at 150 and do just fine as the benefits are important as they start to get heavier and the added weigh puts stress on legs and joints. Do not start holding below 175 lbs. You can easily slow them down to 1.5 lbs a day when their are bigger and cruise into your show looking good.

True glo CR and True track are great products. True glo will help keep them healthy and have a healthy appetite. True trac will help with joint health. I prefer Moormans as a base feed but out of the two you mentioned I would feed linders if I had the choice.

Add champion drive now and paylean 21 days out from show

Pen rest in a deep bedded pen and use True Trac. Start walking again 1 month out starting out with short walks.
