They all make fat supplements of one kind or another. There are differneces between them that the company guys will point out to you but I have used a few of them and they all are good.

That is almost double what soy oil or choice white grease are selling for today. There is also the carcass quality considerations of feeding soy oil straight.

Just do the math I don't think he feed companies are out of line on the price of fat supplements.

Choice white grease or Soybean oil are reasonably close in price. But unless you are feeding more pigs than the average show pig feeder it is going to be hard to make handling either practical.

Thus the place for the commercial fat supplements

I have used it a few times when we wanted to get some fill and were tight on weighing back.

I don't think it works as well as oat groats and water but if you need some fill and are tight on weight it is as good as anything we have used.
