<t>Do you have a metal barn? I have heard that reception can be spotty going through metal. How far from the barn is your house? I currently have a camera, but run a cable about 300 feet to the house. It has really worked well, until the hubby decided to mow the pasture!<br/> <br/> Love the idea of ...

Proven Cross Boars

What cross boars have worked for you the past 6 months or so? I am not interested in young prospects that look good, but focusing on market aged pigs that grew up, were sound and turned out well.

There was a video of Super 7 back when Forehand and RW were partners. ( Platinum Profile Genetics) Wish I had saved it.

Does anybody have it in their old archives?

Wheat bran has been around forever. Most feed stores should have it. You can add water to it before feeding and make it into a wet mash.

Also, keeping the heat lamp away from her side if you can, will keep them out from underfoot when she gets up. The beer, whiskey thing you read on here c...

If it were me, I would try to get them all nursing as much as possible and pull them aside in an area with a heat lamp if need be when she is getting up and down. Sounds like she might be a first time mother? I don't leave until mom starts to feel maternal and the pigs are nursing well.

You said she had a small litter and cleaned out. Did she just pass afterbirth once? If so, she just might have more pigs in there and that may be why she is uptight.

Does she show signs of still being in labor? Do you think she might have a stuck pig?
