I had 3 Batman litters that were good eaters and zipped along all the way up to market weight. Had to slow some down.

That must be the $70,000 boar from the Crossbred Classic. I saw the show and sale on the internet. He looked pretty darn good, but it was hard to see a lot of detail. I am sure somebody that was there can comment. He sure took a nice picture.

<r>My son showed a Hedgepost barrow last year that will probably rank as one of my favorites for a long time. The barrow did well. He had a great hip, great bone and big chested. I will try to post some pics. These were taken a few days post show and waiting for the truck.<br/> <br/> <URL url="http:...

<t>I put about 1/3 lb of pelleted show feed in a plastic bucket, distribute the Matrix over it evenly and mix it around. The pellets really soak it up well.I feed that first. They all love it, inhale it quickly and don't leave a pellet behind. I then feed them the rest of their meal which is a mash....

<r>A friend of mine had trouble settling a sow and I am posting this on her behalf.<br/> <br/> The sow had 3 litters of pigs without incident. The trouble seem to start when she used a Lepto/Parvo vaccine ( I believe she told me it had expired, but not sure on that) She gave the vaccine to 2 sows pr...

I too noticed him off the website and called to find out. They said he died a few weeks ago. I had used him in the past and wanted to again. Too sad.

Some of you had Skywalker litters earlier in the year. I would appreciate any feedback.

<t>Sounds like the typical county fair gripes. You get knocked down for being competitive. The other kids don't stand a chance because you have the magic potion in your sprayer that will turn that pig into a champion! If you have that potion, I am sure you would be very wealthy.<br/> <br/> I am assu...

You might want to look at Batman. I put him on 3 different types of sows and he worked on all 3 so far. 2 litters are not far from market weight and they keep impressing me.

I forgot to mention. Check out Sudden Impact at Top Cut. He is a son of Major Impact with Super 7 on the bottom side. Ottenwalters bred that boar.

Call Ottenwalters. I am sure they would be very helpful as they have used the boar and know the sow side.
