Big Wig, who is showing the one at the jackpots? Do you have any knowledge about the sow side of that one?

I just inquired about him via email. Don't believe he has pigs on the ground yet, you need to call to find out.

I was told he has a lot of muscle, great width, very sound and a bit above moderate frame wise. He is a carrier as well.

From the quick research I did, it looks like this feed is a mash and is less expensive than the pelleted version. How much less is it? We are paying about $20=$21 per 50 lbs.

<t>I had something a little similar a few years ago. This sow passed a small portion of afterbirth a few days after farrowing. I had her on penicillin prior and after that. About a week later, the sow became ill quickly with a high temp and was down. My vet had me use Naxcel for 3 days, as it was wo...

I have a bunch of Batmans and really pleased with them. Anybody out there fed one? Looking for some feedback on that.

I had the same worry on a gilt that farrowed recently. She popped 12 out in record time and didn't miss a beat. The pigs were all a nice size.

The first 3 were born about 15 mins apart and then she spit the rest out like popcorn! During that time she kept sitting up, trying to stand up an...

Is this Mastitis??

<t>I have a sow due to farrow in two weeks. A few days ago I noticed one hind udder was enlarged. It is about the size of a small orange. Its firm , but not red looking or hot to the touch.<br/> <br/> I gave her a shot of long acting penicillin tonight. It made her pretty sick to her stomach and she...
