How To Build muscle

Post by aohara » Sat Jun 15, 2013 8:21 pm

I am raising two show pigs and they don't have a lot of muscle on them and I'm not sure what to do about this issue. I would like to put on muscle but not let them gain much more weight. Please help! Thanks!

If you dont slow them down now, they will be to big. If they were mine I would slow them down now by using 1 1/2 lbs of powerfill and 12 oz of depth charge twice a day to buy some time. Then use paylean towards the end (# of days feeding paylean is your choice) and adjusting the feed accordinaly to what they weigh. J.M.O.

I'm using Purina Honor Show Feed High Octane Champion Drive and it seems to be doing pretty well and the pigs love it!
