Swollen lymph node or Fat Pocket
Does anybody have anything that works on swollen lymph nodes or fat pockets have one barrow with one on each side wondering if there's anything that works
Re: Swollen lymph node or Fat Pocket
We have a vet. She works great, but seriously, treating lymph nodes that are swollen are night and day different then treating fat pockets. I would be suspicious of cervical abscess. Which lymph nodes are you talking about? Location? Take it's temperature, if fever you likely have infection. Fat pockets don't cause fevers.

Behind the Sheth. Under rear leg. No temperature

You see this more so in show pigs there should not be an issue with it we use starglo or fitter 35 to shrink them a little also search the forum for fat pocket for more info.
Re: Swollen lymph node or Fat Pocket
Hi I am new to this website, my niece is raising 2 pigs for our county's fair in two weeks. She has a York Burrow and a Hamp gilt, her Hamp has developed a swollen lymp node in the rear end over night. Any suggestions?
