How hard is it to achieve a 1.45 adg for the last 150 days before the show? If the pig weighs 60 pounds?

Depends upon the pig and you.

1. hand feed
2. do not limit weight gain very much until the pig weighs 150 lbs and has time for normal development
3. then recalculate what the pig can AVERAGE gaining per day
4. Split the remaining total days into shorter periods of 14 days each
5. feed for a daily gain that is LESS than you calculate (after each period), that way the pig can gain faster and faster with each successive period of 14 days
