Advice for a adult and child who want to start showing

My son and myself have gotten into show pigs the last two years through his 4H club . But would like to start showing. I'm still unclear if adults can show pigs or not? Haven't been able to find much information on that . But if they can is there a list of shows somewhere ? Sorry if I'm asking old questions that have been answered . This is a new world to us and we are trying / willing to learn . Just needs some tips and advice

It depends on where you guys are showing in most county fairs are youth only some state and most international shows allow adults to show these are called open classes you can look on the national Swine registrys website and they have a list of shows it will have all the information on the shows including wether or not it is a open show. Anymore questions just ask

Most of the county fairs around me have both an open and junior show. You would be able to show in just the open with your kid being able to show in both the junior and open show in the county fairs around me.
