Pig off feed

Post by triplekids » Fri Aug 05, 2016 12:11 am

We currently have a pig that has gone off feed. We are trying to get her to eat 2 1/2 lbs 809, 2 oz heavy weight and 3 eggs twice a day, she was eating good but has slowed down and will barely anything now. We are slopping it. We have tried adding syrup, and goats milk but nothing is helping. She weighs 160 and we need to be 220 by Sept 1st. Please help!!!

Could be heat related. Might be cycling for the first time. May have picked up something from the eggs. Recommend she be looked at by local veterinarian.
