Receiving Showpigs

I will be receiving my showpigs soon from Iowa and I am located in Utah. What feed or other tricks do you recommend to keep their bloom and keep them on feed.

Try and receive them on the same feed that they have been eating. Then gradually switch them to the brand of feed that you want to use. Also you may want to worm them when you get them. It is better to know than to assume that certain things have been done.

I believe you have Prelude 309 available in Utah. Feed one bag per pig depending upon their size. (Smaller they are the more it will take). If they are 40 - 50 lbs feed about 1/2 bag per pig.
