If you don’t mind the pigs gaining a little faster, just add the supplements in addition to the 809.
Also, a couple thoughts:
High Octane Power Fuel is 31% fat while High Octane Heavy Weight is 70% fat. It takes far less Heavy Weight to add the same amount of energy (calories). I recommend Power Fuel for ruminants and Heavy Weight for Pigs.
I understand about the $ and benefits, but the feeding rate for Champion Drive to do what it needs to do is 1 lb/day. Whatever you have left over (High Octane supplements) put in a freezer bag and put in the freezer. When you take them out to feed they will be just as good as when you put them in.

KGB,
Thank you for the response. I will be taking your recommendations and applying them. This feeding stuff can make you lose your hair.

Champion drive
I am new to the suppliment stuff. We have always fed just grain and have done fine. My daughter wanted to try something new this year so she chose to try out champion drive. The pig seems to like it, the problem is, it's been so hot and the pig isn't eating all her food. We were up to y ponds a day, but she has only been eating just under 5 pounds. So how do we get her to eat all her food as well as get her up to a pound of champion drive? We weigh this week , but I'm guessing she may weigh about 210. Any suggestions?
Re: Champion drive
If I knew a definite answer I could make a lot of money in this business. You can try slopping her feed. Add just enough water to make it like a thick milkshake. Also if you don't have a fan I would try that to keep her cool or daily wash downs with water. I would not do anything too drastic. Try things individually so that you can know what works and what does not. There are other folks on here who I hope chime in and give you some better advice.
Re: Champion drive
When it gets hot, of course pigs get hot. Making them cooler pays dividends.
Using a fan blowing across the pigs helps. But getting the pigs wet, then blowing air across them works very well.
We had a fan on automatic that started about 10 am and shut off about 10 pm. We also had a timer on a mister that sprayed water on the pigs every hour for 5 to 7 minutes.

Re: Champion drive
We do have a fan on her and spraying her down does work sometimes.
Re: Champion drive
When the temperature is hot and even worse when it’s humid it doesn’t take long for hogs to heat up again. Rinsing with water multiple times during peak temperature periods (afternoon) will be the biggest help.
